On 5-8 April, Selena Group participated in MosBuild international expo in Moscow. New products and building solutions were exhibited by the Group’s Russian company Selena Vostok. The Moscow trade show is the largest and most important event in the construction sector in the region.
More than 2200 exhibitors from 44 countries around the world participated in this year’s MosBuild. A wide range of construction/ finishing products and services were exhibited at the fairgrounds: from bricks to interior decoration items. Due to its massive scale, for the last few years the fair has been held in two locations: in the „Expocentre” Exhibition Centre and in “Krokus Expo” International Exhibition Centre in Moscow.
At the trade fair, Selena Vostok – Selena Group’s Russian affiliate – promoted, among others, the complementary offer of products for floors and parquets – with the new line of wood preservatives under Artelit brand. Furthermore, visitors could also browse through a range of construction and renovation products under TYTAN brand – PU foams for professional and individual users – and also silicone, acrylic and polyurethane sealants as well as products for roofing works. Among new products, Selena Vostok presentedfloor lacquers and varnishes under Artelit brand, TYTAN Professional O2 class polyurethane foams – mounting foam equipped with a hi-tech, super-tight valve and low expanding foam Low Expansion; TYTAN Professional Durability & Comfort sealant line and FIX&SEAL adhesive sealants.
“The MosBuild trade fair is one of the key events in the exhibition calendar of Selena Group. Eastern markets are of strategic significance to Selena’s growth. What’s more, Russia is one of the few global markets which observed a strong economic growth in 2010 and where the market was on the mend – all of which had a positive effect on Selena Vostok’s results. We are intent on building our presence in the region both through implementation of new products and expansion of the existing distribution network” – says Krzysztof Domarecki, the CEO of Selena FM SA.
Selena leads the Russian market of gun PU foam thanks to TYTAN professional brand and the high yield foam Tytan 65. Extending the window and door range by further products under Selena’s key brand let the company take the leading position also in this segment of the Russian market.
Selena Group operates in Russia through trade companies Selena Vostok and Kvadro. Selena’s product offer in Russia ranges, among others, polyurethane foams, sealants and adhesives under TYTAN Professional and Artelit brands.
