Selena Group Wins the Gold Laurel Deloitte Best Managed Companies Poland 2026

The Selena Group has once again been named among the best-managed private companies in Poland, receiving the Gold Laurel in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Poland 2026 program. This distinction officially confirms the extension of the title awarded to the company for another year and is the culmination of the company’s long-standing participation in the prestigious Deloitte program.

The Selena Group has participated in the program since 2022, that is, since its first Polish edition. Over the past few years, it has successfully passed the recertification process three times, consistently maintaining its status as one of the best-managed private companies in the country. The Selena Group’s receipt of the Gold Laurel is a special distinction, highlighting the organization’s consistency in building high standards of management, organizational culture, and long-term business development.

The Deloitte Best Managed Companies program has been operating globally for over 30 years as an initiative promoting best management practices in private companies. In Poland, it is being held for the fifth time and is aimed at companies generating over PLN 100 million in revenue, in which individuals hold a majority stake. Program participants undergo a multidimensional evaluation conducted by Deloitte experts in the areas of strategy, risk management, audit, law, taxes, and business consulting, followed by an independent jury. The process allows organizations to view their own operations from a new perspective, identify areas for further development, and strengthen the foundations for future success.

This year’s anniversary edition of the program was unique. Companies that have participated since the initiative’s inception were eligible to compete for the Best Managed Companies Poland Gold Laurel by participating in a special Gold Certification process. This included workshops led by Deloitte experts and a detailed assessment of the organization based on the Best Managed Companies methodology.

Participants also received access to comparative analyses covering the last five years of operations and the opportunity to compare their experiences with key market trends and best management practices.

Receiving the title of Deloitte Best Managed Companies Poland for another year in a row is a tremendous honor for us and confirmation that the management goals and directions we have set and consistently pursued are yielding tangible results. This is particularly significant in the construction industry, which is one of the sectors most susceptible to seasonality, economic fluctuations, and the impact of global economic and geopolitical events. In such a reality, organizational resilience and the ability to respond quickly to changes are of key importance. That is why at the Selena Group, we combine an international scale of operations, local expertise, and a constantly evolving portfolio of solutions that address the most critical needs of modern construction. We invest in segments related to energy efficiency, modern insulation, and highly specialized products that support contractors and enable them to build competitive advantages in many markets’ emphasizes Sławomir Majchrowski, CEO of the Selena Group, who, on behalf of the company, received the award in the Deloitte program during a gala ceremony on June 18.

For years, the Selena Group has been building its position based on business diversification, the scale of its operations, a geographically dispersed structure, and experience in managing global supply chains. At the same time, it strives to maintain a balance between global consistency and the local autonomy of the organizations comprising the Group. Jointly defined development directions set the framework for the entire organization’s operations, while local teams retain the freedom to adapt decisions to the specific characteristics of their markets. It is precisely this combination of global scale and local knowledge that forms the foundation of the management model recognized by the experts of the Deloitte program. The financial results achieved by the company also confirm the effectiveness of this approach.

‘Today, one of the greatest business advantages is the skillful combination of financial stability with active international expansion and investments in market segments with high growth potential. At the Selena Group, we are also efficiently integrating new assets in parallel so that the resulting synergies strengthen the organization’s structure and drive innovation. This allows us not only to expand the scale of our operations but also to build lasting business resilience in a volatile market environment’ sums up Sławomir Majchrowski.
