Selena Group strengthens its marketing – Erik Rylski joins the team

Erik Rylski, Chief Marketing Officer in Selena Group

A manager with extensive experience gained in the United States and Europe, Erik Rylski joined Selena Group, taking up the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer. Rylski will be responsible for the global marketing of Selena FM. He is going to place a particular emphasis on the following areas: end user marketing, marketing research, customer experience, brand, digital marketing, content, training, as well as PR and sustainability.

According to the declarations of the Group’s CEO Sławomir Majchrowski, marketing activities will be given high prominence in the organization’s activities. For this reason, a new position has been created in the company’s structures: CMO, taken up by Erik Rylski. He has over 20 years of experience in the international business and innovation setting, gained by working with global technology and construction materials organizations. He honed his skills by developing new products and marketing programs. His projects covered a wide spectrum of technologies, including SaaS, IoT, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence, mobile applications, remote monitoring and advanced sensors.

Rylski specializes in marketing and product management, and new organization and system development. His main professional achievements include developing a breakthrough product platform and SaaS brand worth over USD 170 million, implementing and commercializing dozens of innovative products, as well as creating effective and efficient marketing organizations.

Erik Rylski has a wealth of experience in the American market, where he held managerial positions, which will bring added value for Selena Group, one of the leading producers and distributors of construction chemicals. Before joining Selena, he worked for FLIR Systems, which develops innovative solutions based on thermal imaging systems, visible light imaging and other sensor technologies, and advanced threat detection. Prior to that, he worked with Honeywell – a global corporation that develops and produces different technologies, including for industrial automation, security and fire protection of buildings. He also worked for Emerson, a global leader in industrial technology and software, providing innovative programming and engineering solutions. He began his professional career in the construction materials industry with Aalborg Portland.

Rylski graduated from the Faculty of Construction of the Gdańsk University of Technology and completed MBA studies at the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
