Pursuant to the resolution of the Supervisory Board of Selena FM of 19 December 2018, two new members joined the company’s Management Board. Dariusz Ciesielski was appointed new Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer, and Bogusław Mieszczak became Member of the Board, Chief Operating Officer. In accordance with the Supervisory Board’s resolution, both gentlemen took on their respective roles on 7 January 2019.

The new members were appointed for a joint three-year term of office of the Management Board, which began on 15 June 2018.

By assuming his new role at Selena FM SA, Dariusz Ciesielski will be responsible for sales across the Group, including sales support and development. One of his key responsibilities will be to ensure ongoing cooperation with the Group’s companies around the world.

Dariusz Ciesielski completed an Executive MBA programme at Nottingham Trent University and Wielkopolska Business School of the University of Economics in Poznań. He also completed post-graduate studies at the following faculties: Material Science of Refinery and Petrochemical Products, at the Warsaw University of Technology, and Organisation and Management at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń.

He acquired professional experience by working as Sales Director at Royal Unibrew Poland, Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of SELENA CO and Executive Director for Trade in Petrochemical Products at PKN ORLEN SA. He also held roles at commercial law companies as a Member of the Supervisory Board of ANWIL SA, Basell Orlen Polyolefins Sp. z o.o., Unipetrol RPA in the Czech Republic and the European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) on behalf of PKN ORLEN SA.

Bogusław Mieszczak, appointed Member of the Board, Chief Operating Officer at Selena FM SA, will be responsible for efficient operation of Selena’s production plants. His main task will be to ensure continuity and timeliness of deliveries of goods to the Group’s companies and the Group’s other clients and partners in Poland and abroad. His other important areas of responsibility include the management of quality systems and occupational health and safety systems.

Bogusław Mieszczak, the new Management Board Member for Operations at Selena FM SA, graduated from the Faculty of Foundry Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He gained his experience during long-term cooperation with the automobile factory Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych (FSM)/ FIAT Auto Poland, as well as a Director of the Non-Ferrous Metals Foundry in Bielsko-Biała and Odlewnia Żeliwa (Iron Foundry) in Skoczów. Then he worked as Managing Director at TI Automotive (a global manufacturer of automotive components). In 2017–2018, he served as Managing Director at SIAT in Italy (MI), which is a leading manufacturer of packaging machines from the Maillis Group. At the same time, he was a member of the Management Board of Combi, a joint venture between SIAT and 3M.
