By resolution dated February 28, 2025. Supervisory Board of Selena FM S.A. Marek Rościszewski was appointed to the Company’s Management Board as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The new member of the Management Board will take up his duties on March 1, 2025 and will be responsible for overseeing the global operations of the Selena Group.
The appointment of Marek Rościszewski as COO is intended to strengthen Selena Group’s strategic operational areas and enable more effective management.

Our strategic ambition is to continue to expand both geographically and in terms of products. With such a large scale of business, effective management of operational processes, their optimization and efficient coordination of team work is crucial for the company’s development,” says Slawomir Majchrowski, CEO of Selena Group. “I am sure that Marek Rościszewski, thanks to his extensive experience and excellent knowledge of various sectors of the chemical industry, as COO, will be a great support in the implementation of our strategic goals,” adds President Majchrowski.
Marek Rościszewski has over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry. He started his career at Avantor (formerly POCh) as a production department manager, marketing specialist and business development manager responsible for the product portfolio for the pharmaceutical, food and automotive industries. Between 2007 and 2016, he worked for Synthos Dwory, where he was production manager and then plant manager, participating in the restructuring of the Oświęcim plant and the construction of new facilities, including a solvent rubber production line. In the following years, as COO of Synthos SA, he was responsible for managing the operational part of the company in 7 plants located in Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and France.
Before joining Selena Group, he was President of the Management Board of Chemont (2021-2022), as well as Plant Manager (2022) and Member of the Management Board (2023) of CIECH Soda Polska S.A. (currently Qemetica).
Marek Rościszewski graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Silesian University of Technology and completed post-graduate studies in Management and Marketing at the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology. He also completed an Executive MBA program at the Cracow University of Technology and a project management program organized by George Washington University and ICIS Petrochemical Academy.
