Selena Shanghai Co. Ltd. exhibited from November 4th to 6th, 2010 in Fenestration China 2010 – National Fairs of Windows and Doors – that took place in Beijing.
Selena Shanghai Co. Ltd. exhibited from November 4th to 6th, 2010 in Fenestration China 2010 – National Fairs of Windows and Doors – that took place in Beijing. Selena’s stand, exhibiting products under Tytan Professional brand, attracted a lot of interest among the visitors.
Fenestration China is one of the largest and most important exhibitions in the Chinese construction industry, it is dedicated to windows, doors, construction chemicals and curtain wall equipment. In the Fairs, Selena Shanghai displayed the product offer of the brand Tytan Professional, including polyurethane foams, sealants and mounting adhesives. The viewers’ attention was also attracted by a live demonstration of Selena’s flagship product – Tytan Professional 65 PU foam, whose yield was compared to the products of other manufacturers.
“Participating in such a prestigious event in the construction business, such as Fenestration China, is a good opportunity to present the advantages of Tytan Professional products and the benefits from their use. It also enables, as with Tytan Professional 65 PU foam, providing the Chinese customers with professional technical knowledge about the use of our products” – said Krzysztof Domarecki, the president for the Management Board of Selena FM S.A, the holding company for the Group.
For Selena, China is one of the key directions for geographical expansion. Selena’s first investment in the Chinese market was the joint-venture company Foshan Chinuri Selena Chemical Co. Ltd., established in 2007, that manufactures silicones for the Chinese and Central Asia markets. Selena Shanghai Trading Co. Ltd. was established the same year to build a distribution network and develop sales. Currently, the final works to build a PU foam manufacturing plant in Nantong are conducted.
Products of the Selena Group become increasingly prominent in the Chinese market. They were also used by the companies constructing pavilions for the EXPO 2010 exhibition. Tytan-brand polyurethane foams, sealants and adhesives were used for building the cultural pavilion of EXPO 2010 and the exhibits of Malaysia, Switzerland, Germany and Italy.
