Selena was recognised for \u201eDurable Success\u201d. The awards were presented personally by the Polish president Bronis\u0142aw Komorowski at the official gala opening the Pozna\u0144 International Fair in Pozna\u0144, Poland on 2&nbsp;June&nbsp;2014.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i>\u201eIt is a&nbsp;very special award for us because it showcases the durability of Selena\u2019s business achievements. Selena has been serving customers for 22 years, initially in Poland, and for the past ten years \u2013 internationally. Today, we have over dozen businesses outside Poland and not only do we market our products, we also manufacture them in countries such as Turkey, Brazil, China, Spain or Romania. It is thanks to this global scale of operations that we\u2019ve been able to grow the Selena Group dynamically in various directions. We\u2019re all the more pleased that Selena\u2019s way of doing business \u2013 focused on building a&nbsp;strong presence in the construction chemistry sector both in Poland and worldwide \u2013 has been distinguished with the Economic Award of the President of Poland. We are honoured to be presented with this prestigious award \u2013 it motivates us to press on with our plans for international development&#8221; \u2013 said&nbsp;<b>Jaros\u0142aw&nbsp;Michniuk<\/b>, Selena CEO during the award gala<\/i>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>This year\u2019s competition ranked companies in the following categories: Innovativeness<\/b>, Global Presence, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Green Economy and Durable Success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland is a&nbsp;prestigious award presented to companies and institutions that offer significant contribution to Poland\u2019s economic development, and help build positive image of the Polish business abroad.<\/b>&nbsp;The award was first established in 1998 by the president Aleksander Kwa\u015bniewski and was presented until&nbsp;2005. In&nbsp;2011 president Bronis\u0142aw Komorowski resumed awarding it. Candidates are proposed by the local authorities, major economic organisations and organisers for the most prestigious awards given in Poland.
